The incredible Andes show us all the biodiverstity of this amazing country. Tanager´s, Tapaculo´s, Antpitta´s, hummingbird´s and many many more birds are the atraction. DAY 1: BOGOTA
Arrived to Bogota, El Dorado International Airport.
Overnight in Bogota at Hotel Dann Norte.

DAY 2: CHINGAZA NATIONAL PARK
We will visit the Chingaza National Park early in the morning all day, we will take the breakfast and the lunch in the field and we are focus in a many important birds this day as to Flame wing Parakeet, Matorral tapaculo, Blue throated Strafrontlet, Coopery bellied Puffleg and many more. In the afternoon we will come back to Bogota.
Overnight in Bogota at Hotel Dann Norte.

DAY 3: LA FLORIDA NATIONAL PARK
We will visit this day during the day three very special places close to Bogota, La Florida Park of the wetland ecosystems in where is possible to see very important birds of the savanna of the highlands as Bogota Rail, Apolinar Marsh Wren, Silvery throated Spinetail, Noble Snipe, Subtropical Doradito and more. After La Florida, we will visit the “Jardin Encantado”hummingbird house in San Francisco, we will can see as to 20 different species of hummingbirds as Indigo capped Hummingbird, Gorgeted Woodstart and White bellied Woodstar; after of this place we will vist Laguna El Tabacal Location, a nice place af a secondary forest with very interesting birds as to Rusty brested Antpitta, Rosy thrust Tanager, Grey throated Warbler, Stripe breasted Spinetail and more. In the final of the day, we will come back to Bogota and take a flight to Medellin city, in where we will stay in a nice hotel.
Overnight in Medellin at Hotel Estelar Milla de Oro.

DAY 4: LA ROMERA NATURE RESEVE
We will visit in the morning La Romera Natural Reserve in where our goal is Yellow-headed Manakin, Red Bellied Grackle, Stiles Tapaculo and other endemics, we will take the lunch in a typical “paisa” restaurant and transfer in the afternoon to Jardin town (yellow ear Parrot reserve).
Overnight in Jardin – Antioquia at Hotel Hacienda Balandu.

DAY 5: PARROT RESERVE
We will see birds all day in Yellow ear Parrot Reserve; some important birds this are Yellow-eared Parrot, Black-billed Mountain-Toucan, Yellow-vented Woodpecker, Spillmann’s Tapaculo, Blackish Tapaculo, Ocellated Tapaculo, Rufous-crowned Tody-Flycatcher, Green-and-black Fruiteater, Barred Fruiteater, Black-collared Jay, Orange-billed Nightingale-Thrush, Buff-breasted Mountain-Tanager, Golden-collared Honeycreeper, Guira Tanager, Blue-naped Chlorophonia, Chestnut-breasted Chlorophonia, Chestnut-crested Cotinga and many more.

DAY 6: RIO BLANCO RESERVE
Birding in the Municipality of Jardin in the morning and departure to Manizales in the afternoon, we will visit the amazing lek of the Andean Cock of the Rockl We will see birds in the coffee fields. (An 6 hours journey). In the afternoon we will enter at the Rio Blanco Reserve little hours. We will do some stops on the road to see birds, as to Greyish Piculet, Barred crested Antshirke and Apical Flycatcher.

DAY 7: RIO BLANCO NATURAL RESERVE
We will see birds all day in Rio Blanco Natural Reserve for seeing the next important birds: Rusty-faced Parrot, Brown – brested Antpitta (endemic), Chestnut-crowned Antpitta, Masked Saltator (endemic), Ocellated Tapaculo, Green-and-black Fruiteater, Barred Fruiteater, Black-collared Jay, Blue-naped Chlorophonia, Chestnut-breasted Chlorophonia, Chestnut-crested Cotinga, Buff-breasted Mountain-Tanager, Golden-plumed Parakeet and many more. We will see birds in the incredible Feeders of Hummingbirds and Antpitta.
Overnight in Manizales at Hotel Varuna.

DAY 8: LOS NEVADOS NATIONAL PARK
Birding in the Natural National Park Los Nevados in the morning and departure in the afternoon to Fauna & Flora Sanctuary Otun – Quimbaya. some important birds for seeing in this days are: Andean Duck, Paramo Tapaculo, Black-chested Buzzard-Eagle, Noble Snipe, Rufous-fronted Parakeet (endemic), Andean Pygmy Owl, Andean Emerald, Fawn-breasted Brilliant, Speckled Hummingbird, Sword-bellied Hummingbird, Shining Sunbean, Golden-breasted Puffleg, Rainbow-bearded Thronbill, Viridian Metaltail, Bearded Helmetcrest, Gorgeted Woodstar, Many-striped Canastero, White-chinned Thistletail, Andean Tit-Spinetail, White-crowned Tapaculo, White- capped Tanager, and many more. (A 5 hours journey)
Overnight in SFF Otun – Quimbaya Eco-Lodge.

DAY 9: QUIMBAYA ECO LODGE
All day birding in SFF Otun – Quimbaya, for seeing the next important birds: Crested-ant Tanager (endemic), Cauca Guan (endemic), Golden-plumed Parakeet, Grayish Piculet (endemic), Red-ruffed Fruitcrow, Chestnut-breasted Wren, Undulated Antpitta, Hooded Antpitta (endemic), Multicolored Tanager (endemic), Wattled Guan, Chestnut Wood-Quail (endemic) and more many species by the excellent solitary road.

DAY 10: CERRO MONTEZUMA NATURE RESERVE
Early in the afternoon we will departure to Pueblo Rico municipality and the Cerro Montezuma Natural Reserve. (4 hours traveling from Otun).
Overnight in Montezuma Rainforest Reserve.

DAYS 11 & 12: MONTEZUMA RAINFOREST RESERVE

We will see birds in different routes between 1500 and 2200 meters of height, in where we will be able to see many species. Some endemics and other specific Chocó species. DAY 13:MONTEZUMA RAINFOREST RESERVE
We will see bird in the lowlands of Montezuma in the morning and after to the lunch we will transfer to Ibague city, with some stops on the road to see birds. We will enjoy a nice hotel this nice in a great city with a nice temperature.

DAY 14: ANDEAN PARROT RESERVE
Early in the morning we will transfer to Andean Parrots Reserve in the municipality of Anaime, in where we will search the incredible Fuerte’s Parrot, a very critically endangered parrot and other very special birds, as Purple back Thronbill, Golden breasted Puffleg, Andean Pygmy Owl, many tanager and more. In the afternoon we will come back to Ibague city again.

DAY 15: NEVADO DE TOLIMA

Birding in El Nevado del Tolima, El Silencio and Juntas locations the whole day, for seeing the next important birds: Golden crowned Redstart, Spillmann’s Tapaculo, Ocellated Tapaculo, Black-collared Jay, Buff-breasted Mountain-Tanager, Masked Saltator (endemic), Golden-plumed Parakeet, Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, Tolima Dove (endemic), Yellow-headed Brush Finch (endemic), Yellow-headed Manakin (endemic), Blossomcrown (endemic), and many more. In the afternoon we will come back to Bogota city with a short stop in MANA DULCE Natural Reserve in Agua de Dios municipality in where is possible to see some birds as Pheasant Cuckoo, Jet Antbird, Barred Puffbird, Apical Flycatcher, White bellied Antbird, Lineated Woodpecker, Large billed Seed-finch, and many more. With this we finish the tour in Bogota city
